We make our own CBD oil in house, using only the highest quality oils and a third-party tested, CO₂ extracted CBD isolate from reputable suppliers. We typically use coconut oil, but can accommodate allergies and use other oils. We are not a third-party seller of CBD products. We do this to ensure that our products contain 0.0% THC and that we can offer a quality product to our customers at reasonable prices.

Cannabidiol, CBD, a compound found naturally in the hemp and marijuana plant, has been shown to be a natural treatment for everything from anxiety, to digestive issues, to chronic pain. The stigma of “reefer madness” has finally found a dark hole to hide in as CBD and other cannabinoids have found new life in modern and holistic medicine. It has been proven safe and effective in its use to treat humans and animals alike. Hemp and marijuana are entirely different in its function, cultivation, and application. While marijuana (cannabis) is still illegal in most states, hemp and its derivatives are legal in all 50 states. For those who are worried about drug testing at their place of employment, our CBD contains nothing but pure 99% CBD. There are no traces of the hallucinogen THC or other unlawful substances. We use CBD isolate. It is distilled from the mother plant and harnessed in a pure powder form, third party tested and guaranteed to contain nothing but pure CBD. The benefit from this form are numerous including direct absorption into the blood stream, the effects are seen faster than broad spectrum CBD oils, and no fear of unwanted THC in the oil. Studies have shown that CBD delivers over 50 multi-target solutions, which is why some scientists have dubbed the compound “the boy scout molecule”. It always seems to do the right thing for the body regardless of the circumstance or situation.

Serotonin controls the mood by inhibiting certain parts of the brain (the part that causes excessive worry, panic disorders, PTSD, OCD, and mild to moderate depression). People who suffer from these conditions do not have enough serotonin to regulate these functions. CBD tells your body to produce more bioavailable serotonin and can also mimic the natural function of serotonin.

CBD has been proven to be an all in one solution to both chronic and acute forms of inflammation. One of the most direct ways it does this is by combating the body’s natural inflammation response. It is the direct action it takes in the cytokines, or the proteins synthesized and secreted by the immune cells directly correlated to the resulting inflammation. CBD is an intelligent molecule that adapts and regulates these biological symptoms that it interacts with.

CBD improves the symptoms of arthritis by directly interacting with the development of your tissues which generates the inflamed responses and chronic pain. This encourages the body to initiate preventative anti-inflammatory measures.

By interacting with the natural receptors in the digestive system, CBD can deter stomach acid secretion, chronic inflammation, and internal bleeding, all of which can cause nausea, vomiting, acid reflux, IBS, and many other gastro-intestinal issues. Studies have shown CBD to be capable of regulating the digestive cycle.

Cats and dogs have cannabinoid receptors too! These receptors are found in the central nervous system, brain, peripheral organs, bones, liver, skin and immune cells. CBD can relieve and manage conditions such as inflammation, loss of appetite, arthritis, seizures, anxiety, and aggressive behavior. The dosing for pets can be a bit tricky though. It is usually based on body weight, but their metabolism is typically much faster than our own. There is no danger of overdosing, but the main objective is to start with the smallest possible dose and slowly working your way up until desired results are seen. A good example of a pet’s dose is as follows:

5 -10 drops, 1-2 times per day.

CBD and most prescription medications are metabolized the same way in the body. When more than one substance uses this process, they begin to interact with each other. One can inhibit or exacerbate the metabolism of the other. In other words, one drug or substance can prevent the other from working. This can cause an adjustment of dosage or in extreme cases, can stop some drugs from metabolizing completely. CBD has been found to be a relatively potent inhibitor of pharmaceutical drugs. (think grapefruit). For this reason, it is important to talk to your healthcare provider about your use of CBD with other medications to avoid a possible complication.

Remember, everyone is different.  Always start with the smallest dose and strength. If you are not feeling the effects within a few days, gradually up the dose. For best bio-absorption, apply the drops directly under the tongue and hold the oil for 3-5 seconds. A good starting point is as follows:

5-10 drops 1-2 times daily.

Remember as with all natural and pharmaceutical medications, monitor your progress carefully. The lowest dose possible is recommended and beware of inaccurate labeling and recommendations. Know where your CBD comes from, and demand 3rd party testing to ensure quality and purity.

We make our CBD Oil at a strength of 1500mg per ounce. We can make stronger doses, at higher costs, depending on the strength, but find that the 1500mg per ounce strength has helped most achieve the level of relief that they desire.
