SAFETY

CBD and most prescription medications are metabolized the same way in the body. When more than one substance uses this process, they begin to interact with each other. One can inhibit or exacerbate the metabolism of the other. In other words, one drug or substance can prevent the other from working. This can cause an adjustment of dosage or in extreme cases, can stop some drugs from metabolizing completely. CBD has been found to be a relatively potent inhibitor of pharmaceutical drugs. (think grapefruit). For this reason, it is important to talk to your healthcare provider about your use of CBD with other medications to avoid a possible complication.

HOW TO TAKE CBD ISOLATE

Remember, everyone is different.  Always start with the smallest dose and strength. If you are not feeling the effects within a few days, gradually up the dose. For best bio-absorption, apply the drops directly under the tongue and hold the oil for 3-5 seconds. A good starting point is as follows:

5-10 drops 1-2 times daily.

Remember as with all natural and pharmaceutical medications, monitor your progress carefully. The lowest dose possible is recommended and beware of inaccurate labeling and recommendations. Know where your CBD comes from, and demand 3rd party testing to ensure quality and purity.
